Reviews:

We definitely appreciated our stay at 3427 Villamare! The condo is just handsome. It has been completely refreshed and has handsome furnishings. The bathrooms are charming and rather cavernous. While we did not prepare many meals in the condo, it certainly has everything you would need to do so. We appreciated coffee in the morning and impressive sunsets with wine in the evening on the balcony. This condo is ideally located on HH Island in enchanting Palmetto Dunes. The bicycle trails, beach access, pool, and proximity to shopping and eateries is the great. We have been visiting HH for 15 years, and this is the best place we have ever stayed. We can’t wait to go back!

We thoroughly adored our time in Hilton Head. The Villamare condo was well appointed and very comfortable. The location is marvelous. Steps to a great pool and the beach. We will be back!

We had a great week in Hilton Head. The condo went beyond all our expectations - ideal set up for our group of four adults. Bedrooms had ample storage and comfortable beds. Whole place seemed brand new and updated. Kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed. Loved the balconies off each bedroom. Can’t wait to go back.

This is such a nice condo! It is gorgeously decorated and very comfortable. Ideal location too! The kitchen is entirely supplied with plenty of cookware, dishes, glassware and appliances. Everything we needed was supplied! The condo was spotless and well organized when we arrived. There are three nice TV’s and plenty of space to sit on the balcony for a meal or cup of coffee. We spent a amazing week on the beach and at the pool, playing golf, and riding bicycles. Thank you for your hospitality. We will be back!

Strategies to get the best Hilton Head vacation home experience:

Finding your best deal:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of SC. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Booking websites often offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hilton Head area visitor guide magazines which will include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Hilton Head visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

How to choose the perfect vacation rental in Hilton Head:

  • Start by selecting your vacation dates and a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration you need. Great oceanfront villa! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed counts & types is normally accessible on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, call the property owner before you reserve the rental. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to establish what bed configuration is optimal for your family.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly rental. Make sure to ask for information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a specific Hilton Head beach you are enamored with, search for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. .

More considerations for your visit:

  • Get the host's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your . Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of difficulties.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would back home.
  • During check-in, record any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Record all coorespondence.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your peace and quiet. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to make sure you haven't forget anything. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a fantastic vacation? Most rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
