Beach-goer or pickleball enthusiast, the best location in Sea Pines awaits at South Beach Villas 1406, a two-story villa with peek-a-boo vistas of the ocean through groves of pine and palm. Follow the community's private walkway and find one of the loveliest, most uncrowded stretches of beach anywhere on Hilton Head Island.

This villa features a marvelous setting in Sea Pines, right next door to the island's best pickleball and tennis drills at South Beach Racquet Club. When you're not at the beach, you'll find a brand-new community pool currently under construction, the island's famed bicycle paths winding right by the property, as well as The Salty Dog and South Beach Marina directly across the street.

A really special feature of this villa is its generous outdoor space, where you can breathe in the salty sea air with vistas of the tree-lined grounds. Sip your coffee on the upper balcony with filtered vistas of the ocean across to Tybee Island, sit down for breakfast on the screened porch downstairs, and soak up the sunshine in the afternoons as you BBQ lunch on the patio.

The interior is bright and breezy, with ceiling fans circulating the central air conditioning and floor-to-ceiling glass doors connecting to the porch and patio. Appreciate a well-equipped kitchen and dining space, and linger after dinner in the evenings to stream movies on the living room's intelligent TV. Of the three bedrooms (one downstairs, two upstairs), each is paired with its own full bathroom and intelligent TV as well.

Tips and Tricks to get the best Hilton Head rental home experience:

When to visit Hilton Head & When to reserve a rental home:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • To find the best value, consider shifting your family's Hilton Head vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer great weather, , and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hilton Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Booking websites usually offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local Hilton Head visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guides contain offers and deals for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Make a plan and choose yourrental:

  • Start by selecting vacation dates and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Fantastic villa with patio & porch - steps to the beach, tennis, pickleball has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is often accessible on booking websites. If not, contact the property management company before you reserve your home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but others don't. Allowable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property manager about pets before booking.
  • If there's a particular Hilton Head attraction you are crazy about, look for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Additional considerations:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property. Store the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Property managers are available to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your rental home while you are out. Protect your property!
  • To make certain no damages are linked to your family's visit, note any problem areas when you arrive. text the host right away to document any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Respect the neighborhood. Often times, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected everything. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a excellent stay? Many rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
