The kitchen features stainless appliances, maple cabinets and granite countertops. 3 barstools can be found at the kitchen bar, and there is a dining table with 4 chairs.

The master suite features a king bed with a comfortable bed and deluxe linens. There is also a wall-mounted flat screen TV, ceiling fan and room darkening shades. The master bathroom features a double vanity with a granite top and a cavernous, tiled walk-in shower.

The guest suite features similar upgrades as the master. This space has a queen size bed, wall-mounted flat screen TV and a private bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

Strategies to get the very best Hilton Head vacation home experience:

Sticking to your spending plan:

  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Reserve your Hilton Head rental in Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hilton Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Often, rental management companies supply Hilton Head area travel guide magazines which include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Hilton Head visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Select vacation dates and spending budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration you need. Stunningly remodeled 3rd floor villa with ocean views has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, call the property manager before booking the property. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you will need a pet-friendly rental. Make sure to ask for information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Note that some property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Is your family looking for special amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Know before you go:

  • Put the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Lock your rental home while you're out and about. Protect your property!
  • Make a record of any issues with the property during check in, and immediately contact the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that are very helpful if a dispute is filed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your peace and quiet. Use the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and places you would've not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • At departure, complete a final walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a wonderful time? Most rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
