The fourth bedroom features two twin beds and a skylight. (This room has a sloped, low-headroom ceiling and kids's books, making it most suitable for young guests.)

Get the most from your rental home budget:

• Reserving a rental home in the Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable homes. • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
• Property managers usually offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.
• Often, rental management companies supply Hilton Head area visitors guides that include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. • Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let thieves spoil your family vacation.
• Re-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed everything on check-out day. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Walk through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
• Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they always love to hear your praise.
