As you arrive, you'll be greeted by high-speed WiFi with a mesh router and two desk areas to use if you plan to work from home. You'll find oak wood floor throughout the bungalow and a cavernous living area featuring overstuffed chairs, a 75-inch TV with a sound bar, and a DVD player for movie nights. The handsome kitchen is separated from the living room by an island breakfast bar, offering polished stainless steel appliances, bespoke cabinetry, and a wet bar.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if allowed.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furnishings, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
• In the Hilton Head area, The earlier you can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation home up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a price reduction.
• Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.

• Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your peaceful neighborhood. Use the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known about!
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
• Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
• Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected everything. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
• Did you have a fantastic time? Many rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
