470 Captain's Walk is an oceanfront villa located in Palmetto Dunes Plantation with sweeping ocean vistas that greet you as you walk through the front door. Tile floor runs throughout the living areas, kitchen and bathrooms. The impressive kitchen features granite counter tops, new cabinetry and stainless steel appliances.

The dining area, located just off the kitchen, features seating for six with an additional two barstools at the kitchen counter bar. The living area features plenty of comfortable seating with two couches and two club chairs, as well as a huge flat screen TV and a DVD player. The private balcony can be accessed through sliding doors off the living area.

The master suite features ocean vistas, a king bed, and a flat screen TV. The private master bathroom features a separate vanity area with double sinks and granite countertops. Through another door, you’ll find the sizable walk-in tiled shower. The second bedroom, located just down the hall from the master, features two queen beds and a flat screen TV. The bathroom can be accessed through the hall or the bedroom and features a tub/shower combination.

With each building parallel to the dunes, you will feel immersed in the sand and surf. Paved walkways on the grounds converge on the oceanfront pool and private beach boardwalk with showers. These villas are conveniently located next to the Omni Oceanfront Resort which has specialty stores and eateries

Located on the beach, this villa is in Mid Island, a neighborhood in Hilton Head Island. Fort Howell and Harbour Town Lighthouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Palmetto Dunes Club and George Fazio Golf Course. Pirate's Island Adventure Golf and Legendary Golf are also worth visiting.   • Property management companies typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all belongings. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a wonderful vacation? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
