When to visit Hilton Head & When to reserve a Hilton Head rental home:

• The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Booking your rental up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental property.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Hilton Head. To get the best rental home within budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
• Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
• Property managers often offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.
