Motorcycles, motorized scooters, mini-bicycles, trailers, and commercial cars may not be parked inside the Sea Pines Plantation. Boat trailers, U-Haul trailers (or the like), campers, recreational cars, buses, and similar cars will be parked as directed by resort security personnel.

(A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if allowed.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furnishings, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

• The earlier your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your rental property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
• Property management companies sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
• Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance. • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
• Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are away, just like you would at home.
• Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Inspect the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition.
• Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on great reviews to compel more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review.
