- Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
- Property managers frequently offer renters an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
- Find a copy of your local Hilton Head visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers.
