*Phase 2 of the Lighthouse Lane Infrastructure Improvement Project is scheduled to begin in early May 2025, and is estimated to continue through June 2025.
Planned work will be conducted Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, excluding major holidays. Weekend and overnight work may be necessary but will be communicated in advance.
Heavy machinery and construction cars will be traveling to and from the project site.
Single-lane road closures and flagging operations will be in place daily, weather permitting. Temporary full lane closures may be required at times.
Motorists should expect traffic delays, traffic detours, and be prepared to share the road with bicycle riders and pedestrians.
Sidewalks in the project area will be closed as needed. Pedestrians and bicycle riders should expect delays and be prepared to stop and follow detours.
For safety, bicycle riders will be required to dismount and walk bicycles around the active work zones.
Please also note that Harbourtown golf course will be closed from May 10th through mid November for maintenance.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if allowed.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furnishings, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Finding the best value:
- June, July, and August are high season in the Hilton Head area. To find the most suitable vacation home within budget, we highly recommend reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
- Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your group qualifies for a special rate.
- Property managers typically offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection.
