When you book this family-friendly getaway, you are also granted access to entertaining on-site amenities, including a heated outdoor pool, outdoor showers, a BBQ area with charcoal grilles, and a boardwalk that will take you straight to the beach.

This snowbird-friendly home away from home features a covered balcony where you can appreciate alfresco meals while admiring the handsome vistas of the beach and the ocean. The living area is another great spot to relax with comfortable furnishings and a intelligent TV to keep you entertained during your stay. Whip up handsome culinary masterpieces in the well-appointed kitchen, which is complete with all the essentials to prepare everything that comes to mind. Both bedrooms have intelligent TVs for added entertainment and comfort. Additional on-site amenities include a private washer/dryer.

Located in Hilton Head Island, this condo is in the city center and on the beach. Arts Center of Coastal Carolina and Coastal Discovery Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Adventure Cove and Pirate's Island Adventure Golf. Hilton Head Zipline and The Sandbox are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hilton Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Owners sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your group.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hilton Head area travel guide magazines which will include money-saving offers, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself.   • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed types is almost always accessible online. Otherwise, call the property management company before you book your rental. Note that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Some properties allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask your host about allowable breeds and types before booking.
  • If there's an individual Hilton Head attraction you simply love, look for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

During your stay:

  • Get the owner's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property. Put the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or coffee maker. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents a lot of issues.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Protect the owner's property and your things!
  • To ensure that no damages are attributed to your visit, record any problem areas during arrival. E-mail the property manager right away to report your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors disrupting your peace. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to make sure you did not forget any personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent reviews to drive future bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will appreciate that you share your feedback find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
