We appreciate Hilton Head Beach Villa 25. This is our third time there, and each time we adore it more and more. It is ideal for a family like ours with three young kids and traveling with our grandparents. There are plenty of comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms for everybody. There are also two living spaces for hanging out and watching TV. The kitchen is roomy and has all the amenities we could want. For the first time we took advantage of the closet full of board games. It is so handy having the washer and dryer in the unit. We all appreciate that the pool is so close - it takes seconds to walk there (but it's not too close that i worry about the kids going in when they aren't supposed to). Our three year old appreciated the toddler pool and the boys appreciated playing in the bigger pool. We also appreciate that the beach is so close - a short, delightful stroll over the boardwalk. Ideal for fast trips back to the condo for using the bathroom or grabbing snacks / toys / sunscreen. The beach could not be any prettier and you can see it from the upstairs balcony. i adore peaceful time in the morning sipping coffee on the upstairs balcony. The location of the condo is ideal - a short walk to coligny circle, a short bicycle ride to sea pines, and very close to so many delicious eateries. The owner of the condo was very quick to respond to the few questions we had. We appreciate it there and cannot wait to go back.

Tips and Tricks for getting the best Hilton Head vacation property experience:
Sticking to your budget:
- Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Hilton Head area. To book the largest vacation home within budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Hilton Head attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
- Some property management companies offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
- Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
- Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hilton Head area visitors guides which will include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
How to select the best vacation rental in Hilton Head:
- Choose vacation week and max budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. 3 bed/3 bath multi-level villa on South Forest Beach, steps from the ocean has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is generally available on booking websites. If not, email the property manager before you book the vacation property. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to establish what is right for your trip.
- Some properties allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the property management company about allowable breeds and types before booking.
- If there's a particular Hilton Head attraction you are enamored with, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental
Advice for your stay:
- Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
- Hosts are there to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Lock your rental while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
- To ensure that no damages are linked to your visit, inspect the property for any problem areas during arrival. Make contact with the rental manager right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be a great source for finding the best local scenic spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Double-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Leave feedback! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to propel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
