Relaxation awaits! Appreciate staying at this freshly-constructed home overlooking the 7th fairway of the Robert Trent Jones Golf Course, just a short walk or bicycle ride from the sugar sand beaches of Hilton Head Island. Palmetto Dunes is a gated mid-island community just three and a half miles from dining, shopping, and marina activities at Shelter Cove. You’ll have direct access to three world-class golf courses, an award-winning tennis center, pickleball courts, an 11-mile lagoon system for kayaking and canoeing, and miles of cycling and walking trails.
Wind down in the roomy living room and watch your favorite shows and movies on the TV. Feel complimentary to lounge in one of the bedrooms and view them as well since the home features three in total. Your group's chef will adore the fresh kitchen and its plethora of amenities. Prepare anything from a modest snack to a feast everybody won't soon forget and indulge in the dining area together. Better yet, take the food to the patio and dine alfresco while taking in the breezy air and having front-row seats for the close by golf course. After your food settles, cool down in your own private pool before coming inside to rinse off in one of the home's many showers. As the evening comes to a close, rest in one of the many available bedrooms and blissfully fall asleep.

Tips and Tricks to get the perfect Hilton Head vacation property experience:
How to get the best rental value:
- The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation home up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Hilton Head area. Booking in the Spring or Fall is a good way to save on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hilton Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
- Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
- Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hilton Head area visitors guide magazines which often include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.
Selecting the best rental home in Hilton Head:
- Start by having your family commit to the best dates and a maximum budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Modern home on 7th fairway with private pool & porch - near shopping & beaches has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
- Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always accessible online. If not, email the host before you book the rental. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds. You will need to establish what configuration is right for your vacation family.
- Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Extra fees or costs could be applied to your agreement.
- If there's a certain Hilton Head attraction you crave, keep an eye out for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair accessibility, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
Considerations for your stay:
- Be sure you get the owner's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your . Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, elevator or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents many concerns.
- Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home when you are away, just like you would at home.
- During check-in, record any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the owner. Record all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
- Respect your neighbors. Often, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
- On check-out day, complete a walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did you have a terrific time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your property and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
