This completely refreshed villa is a short walk to South Forest beach, one of Hilton Head's most trendy beach. What a enjoyment to be able to walk back and forth as you please, rather than having to load up the car, contend with traffic, and hunt for parking.

But you don't even have to leave the condo complex to partake of fun in the sun, thanks to its two swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), tennis and pickle ball courts.

This very roomy (1200 sq ft) two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo, can sleep as many as six people. Each bedroom (on OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE VILLA) has its own TV, generous closet space and mood lightning. The primary bedroom is a cavernous getaway: Prop yourself up against the pillows of your king-size bed and watch TV, surf the web via the complimentary WiFi, or read before drifting to sleep.

Furnished with a pair of queen beds, the second bedroom can sleep four people and boast its own 65-inch TV, mood lightning and a private patio. It's a great space for the kids or for parents who need to be in the same room as their little ones.

Speaking of the living area, there are two. Both furnished in casual, comfortable style and a great separate space for kids to watch tv or another couple to have some private time.

When it comes to dining, you have multiple options. There are many eateries within walking distance and even more just a fast drive away. If you decide to stay in, the kitchen is entirely equipped with all the appliances, cookware, and tableware you could need. whether you're scrambling eggs for breakfast, cooking a fancy dinner or making popcorn to snack on while watching your favorite shows on the living area's flat-screen TV.

Full access to your own washer and dryer makes life a breeze while on vacation.

Should you tire of swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking, and parasailing in the Atlantic Ocean or of collecting seashells and watching for whales on the pristine white sands, there's plenty more to do close by. Hilton Head is known for its golf courses and equally close is Sea Pines Forest Preserve, home to the 4,000-year-old Sea Pines Shell Ring. Dolphin- and whale-watching tours are a great way to observe local sea life; for birdwatching and the chance to see turtles and even alligators, discover Pinckney Island National Wildlife Preserve. And the enchanting city of Savannah is only an hour away.

Tips for getting the best vacation rental experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Hilton Head area. To book the best vacation home within your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Hilton Head restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hilton Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • In the Hilton Head area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Some property managers offer discounts for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers often offer guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Hilton Head visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guides contain coupons for nearby shops and restaurants.

How to select the best vacation home:

  • Choose vacation dates and max budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your group needs. Ocean walk with Indoor Pool: 2blocks 2beach has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often available on booking websites. If they are not listed, email or call the host before you reserve your rental. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds. You'll need to establish what configuration is optimal for your vacation group.
  • If there's an individual Hilton Head destination you simply love, browse rentals that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before reserving a rental
  • If your family is bringing pets, search for a rental that allows animals. Request information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.

Additional considerations:

  • Add the property manager's information to your smartphone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • To make certain no damages are attributed to your family's stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon check in. Get in touch with the host right away to relay any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Property managers are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often an excellent resource to find the best local attractions.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are gone! Don't let burglars spoil your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected everything. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your family have a great time? Many rental managers make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
