This two-bedroom/two-bath condo comes equipped for modern family comfort with updated design and amenities. Prepare home-cooked meals with ease in the well-appointed full kitchen and dine together at the table set for six. A two-person breakfast bar offers a convenient spot for morning coffee. Make the most of coastal living on the private, furnished deck and appreciate casual downtime in the living room with shows and movies on the intelligent TV. Shipyard Plantation is centrally located on handsome Hilton Head Island and provides painless access to over 200 eateries, unique shopping, and world-class golf. The plantation borders 12 miles of white sandy beach and offers bicycle paths, lagoons, golf courses, tennis courts, and an abundance of natural beauty. The Beachwalk section of the plantation has an on-site pool and is located just a very short walk from the beach. In addition, the golf and racquet clubs are close by.

When to visit & When to reserve a Hilton Head rental home:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Hilton Head. To book the largest rental home for your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Hilton Head restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses.   • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a fantastic resource to find the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Protect the property owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a terrific vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
