This villa has been completely refreshed from the walls-in! The kitchen is over-the-top impressive with its completely bespoke cabinetry, GE stainless steel appliances and leathered quartzite countertops. Unique to this villa, one whole section of kitchen wall was removed and thus made the kitchen completely open with bar seating. The dining area seats eight comfortably, in addition to the kitchen bar seating which hosts room for four. The living area is smartly designed with the beach in mind featuring a beach modern theme, HDTV and slider access to your private deck overlooking the lagoon system. Adjacent to the kitchen is the full-size laundry room and a modest office which doubles as a half bedroom with daybed. Completing the first floor is a guest bedroom with two Queen beds, HDTV and guest bathroom. This guest bathroom has a granite vanity and tiled tub and shower combination. Heading upstairs you'll discover the remaining two bedrooms. On the right is another guest bedroom with two Queen beds, HDTV and an en-suite guest bathroom. This guest bathroom is pretty with its granite vanity and walk-in shower. Straight ahead from the top of the stairs is the huge Primary suite with king bed, HDTV and en-suite Primary bath. The Primary bathroom features granite double vanity and a tiled walk-in shower. Outside on your private deck is a propane grille along with a dining table for appreciating your meal while viewing the Palmetto Dunes 11-mile lagoon system! The beach is effortlessly accessed with a 15 min. walk or by calling the Palmetto Dunes Buggy, which is a complimentary on-call shuttle service which runs seasonally. Rental home tips and tricks:

Money saving strategies:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal SC. To find the best value, change your vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warm weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
  • The earlier your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best properties are booked early. Booking your vacation home six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers typically offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitors guide magazines contain coupons for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

How to select the best rental in the Hilton Head area:

  • Begin by choosing your trip dates and a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. Beautifully Updated Three Bedroom Villa on the 11-Mile Lagoon! has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally accessible online. If they are not listed, call the property management company before reserving the vacation home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If there's a certain Hilton Head attraction you are crazy about, browse homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to inquire about wheel chair entry, pool lifts and specialized equipment needs.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and some do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask your host about allowable breeds and types before booking.

Know before you go:

  • Add the owner's contact info to your phone. Print and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Make a record of any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be useful if a dispute is filed.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, television set or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent lots of difficulties.
  • Respect your neighbors. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a great stay? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
