Escape to the lush backyard heaven to take a dip in the pool or relax in the hot tub. A hammock and multiple chaise lounges are ideal for sunbathing, or you can grille up tasty meals and dine alfresco at the outdoor tables for six and eight. The main bedroom also offers direct access to a peaceful seating area for two on the patio.

Vaulted ceilings with skylights flood this single-level getaway with natural light. Snuggle up on a sectional in the main living area to watch movies on the 70" TV. Cathedral ceilings with exposed beams create an chic ambience in the second living area, where you'll also find a 55" TV, a table for four, and a desk.

The chef in your group will feel right at home in the kitchen, appointed with brand-new stainless steel appliances and an island with a quartz countertop that doubles as a four-seater breakfast bar. When it's time to eat, a table in the dining area seats ten for festive vacation meals.

• Booking websites often offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.

• Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors disrupting your peace and quiet. Employ the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and attractions you would've never otherwise known about!
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
• Re-check every room of the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all personal items on check-out day. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Walk through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
• Did your family have a great time? Many rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
