You'll feel like you're already at the beach when you stay at this roomy, entirely-modernized Island Club townhouse. The relaxing blue color palette and the coastal artwork are nearly as relaxing as the lagoon and fountain view from the sizable private patio. The peaceful location is ideal - no upstairs neighbors - and the beach is only a short walk down the complex's private paved path. This community has no shortage of activities, and this unit is closer to the recreation than many of the beachside units. You can hold a family sports tournament on the tennis or basketball courts, keep up appearances at the exercise center, or relax in a hot tub. If you opt for a pool day, the exercise-minded can head to the huge lap pool while the kids play under the mushroom fountain at the zero-entry kids's pool. For mealtimes, there is a enormous shared gas grille only 100 feet from the front door and a close by picnic area with a playground and lawn games like corn hole and lawn golf. When you want to go gourmet, indoor meal prep is an option too. The kitchen features handsome granite countertops and new appliances and opens right up to the living area, where you can lounge on the plush furnishings and savor the 50-inch Samsung Intelligent TV. The owners didn't overlook any detail when putting the finishing touches on this home, from the main bathroom's walk-in shower to the powder room's quartz countertops.
You and your guests will also appreciate exclusive access to a host of exceptional on-site amenities including seasonal pools, a hot tub, tennis center, picnic areas, and five convenient beach access points. Booking the best rental experience:
Getting the best rental value:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal SC. Booking in the Spring or Fall is a great way to save on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hilton Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- In the Hilton Head area, The earlier you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental home up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your family qualifies for a discount.
- Property managers typically offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
- Look for your local Hilton Head area magazine upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guide magazines contain offers and deals for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.
Use filters to narrow your rental search:
- Begin by choosing potential vacation weeks and a max budget.
- Decide how many beds and the configuration your family needs. Villa with Private Beach Access, Pool, Hot Tub, Free WiFi, & Private W/D has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Hilton Head rental home search.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually accessible online. If they are not listed, email or call the property manager before you book the vacation property. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches.
- Visiting for a single attraction or event? If so, use a map search to find nearby properties.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. .
- Some rental properties allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the host about your furry family members before booking.
More considerations:
- Get the owner's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home. Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
- Upon arrival, document any damages to the property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent many issues.
- Respect the neighborhood. Often, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations is the right thing to do.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Ensure you protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the rental when you are out, just like you would back home.
- Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to confirm you have not forget anything. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
- Did your group have a great stay? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
