Our FAQ:

HOW FAR TO BEACH: Step off the patio and onto the beachwalk path-- less than 3 mins. walk and your toes are in the surf.

PAYMENTS: For reservations made thirty (30) days or less days prior to arrival, payment in full is due at the time the reservation is made. For reservations made thirty one (31) days or more prior to arrival, payment of 25% of the total is required, and the full amount of travel insurance premium, if accepted, is required at the time of booking. The balance of the final total is required thirty (30) days prior to arrival. Long term winter reservations policy differs- please inquire.

CANCELLATIONS: You are welcome to cancel your reservation without penalty and receive full refund of your deposit up to 31 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made 14 days to 30 days prior to arrival will receive a 50% refund of total payment. At 13 days prior to arrival, your reservation becomes noncancelable and non-returnable. Travel insurance is always highly recommended.

POOL HEAT: Heatable with propane (efficient in all months/air temperatures).Charge is $350.00 for the first day and $150.00 each additional day during March - May and September - November. This charge is non-taxable and non-returnable.  Please inquire for winter rates.

Sticking to your rental home budget:

• Summertime is the most expensive season in Hilton Head. To find the best vacation home within budget, we recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite Hilton Head restaurants and activities.
• The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked early. Reserving your rental home six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
• Some property management companies offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
• Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would back home.
• Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Go through the property a final time and look for damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
• Did you have a fantastic stay? Many rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was great, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
