Does your pool get any direct sun as many of the homes we've stayed in within Sea Pines, well their pools are too shaded? Yes, the pool gets sun light from mid-morning to late afternoon. Summer pool temps generally range from 86 - 88 degrees. Many of our guests share that they really enjoy coming back to the home and having the pool to relax by after a great day at the beach!

Getting the best Hilton Head vacation home experience:
How to get the best value:
- Summertime is the most expensive season in the Hilton Head area. Reserve your Hilton Head rental in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August.
- The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are reserved early. Booking your rental home up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
- Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer customers an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for specifics.
- Find a copy of your local Hilton Head area magazine upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, travel guide magazines contain offers and deals for nearby accommodations and attractions.
Selecting and booking your prefect Hilton Head vacation home:
- Start by choosing a vacation week and a spending budget.
- Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Gorgeous new luxury beach house - be the first to experience this dream home! has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
- Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is generally accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, email the property management company before reserving your home. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds and bunks.
- Are you visiting for a specific attraction? Try a map search to browse nearby rentals.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental
- Some properties allow pets, but some don't. Acceptable types of dog or cat, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask the owner about pet restrictions before booking.
During your stay:
- Get the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental. Store the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Document any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be valuable if damages are attributed to your stay.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or washer/dryer. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents lots of concerns.
- Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
- Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are gone, just like you would back home.
- At departure, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to propel new bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
