49 Off Shore Drive, located in the Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Community, offers a magnificent vacation experience with its roomy and elegantly decorated 4-bedroom, 4-bath layout. The highlight of this property is its private pool and hot tub, providing ample opportunity for relaxation and enjoyment. Additionally, the private sitting dock overlooking a sizable lagoon adds a serene touch to the setting, ideal for peaceful moments of reflection or birdwatching. Convenience is key with this property, as it's just a leisurely walk of 12-15 mins. to the beach, or a fast 2-3 min. drive with parking available at the Dunes House.
COMPLIMENTARY activities included with our signature Southern Hospitality Pass! Your pass includes one complimentary round of golf daily at partner courses like the Heritage Collection and the Brown Group. Note: This is per day, not per person. You also receive one complimentary round of miniature golf each day at Adventure Cove and one complimentary bicycle from Island Cruisers to start your stay. A $25 delivery fee applies for one bicycle; additional bicycles are delivered complimentary and available at a discount.

Seasonal Beach Shuttle: Palmetto Dunes Buggy is a COMPLIMENTARY on demand and door to door shuttle to the beach and Shelter Cove Marina, Stores, and Eateries. This Shuttle runs from April through September.

- Summer is high season in the Hilton Head area. To get the best vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hilton Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
- In the Hilton Head area, The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
- Some owners offer discounts or promotional rates for active duty military and veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family.
- Booking websites usually offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. - Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental
- Do your family pets travel with you? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Pet fees or charges could be applied to your agreement.
During your stay:
- Add the owner's contact information to your phone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
- Upon arrival, record any issues with the property and immediately contact the property manager. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an incredible source for finding the best local scenic spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to see a beautiful sunrise or sunset, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are gone, just like you would at home.
