You'll feel like you're already at the beach when you stay at this roomy, completely-updated Island Club townhouse. The calming blue color palette and the coastal artwork are nearly as relaxing as the lagoon and fountain view from the enormous private patio. The peaceful location is ideal - no upstairs neighbors - and the beach is only a short walk down the complex's private paved path. This community has no shortage of activities, and this unit is closer to the recreation than many of the beachside units. You can hold a family sports tournament on the tennis or basketball courts, keep up appearances at the exercise center, or relax in a hot tub. If you opt for a pool day, the exercise-minded can head to the huge lap pool while the kids play under the mushroom fountain at the zero-entry kids's pool. For mealtimes, there is a sizable shared gas grille only 100 feet from the front door and a close by picnic area with a playground and lawn games like corn hole and lawn golf. When you want to go gourmet, indoor meal prep is an option too. The kitchen features pretty granite countertops and new appliances and opens right up to the living area, where you can lounge on the plush furnishings and appreciate the 50-inch Samsung Intelligent TV. The owners didn't overlook any detail when putting the finishing touches on this home, from the main bathroom's walk-in shower to the powder room's quartz countertops.

You and your guests will also savor exclusive access to a host of marvelous on-site amenities including seasonal pools, a hot tub, tennis center, picnic areas, and five convenient beach access points. Tips to get the best Hilton Head rental home experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Hilton Head. To get the best value, consider changing your family's Hilton Head vacation week to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer great weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • In the Hilton Head area, The sooner you can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are booked very early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Look for your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitor guide magazines have money saving offers on local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Use filters to search efficiently:

  • Select a group leader, select your vacation dates, and select a spending budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. Villa with Private Beach Access, Pool, Hot Tub, Free WiFi, & Private W\/D has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed types is normally available on booking pages. If they are not listed, reach out to the property manager before you reserve the rental. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which often includes sofa beds.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
  • Some properties allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask the owner about pet restrictions before booking.

Have a wonderful stay:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your .
  • To make certain no damages are linked to your family's visit, make a record of any problem areas during arrival. Get in touch with the rental manager right away to record your findings. If there is a dispute, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents quite a few issues.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental while you're out. Protect your property!
  • When it's time to leave, complete a final walk-through to make sure you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a great time? Many rental websites make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
