  • Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses.   • When it's time to leave, complete a final walk-through to confirm you have not leave anything behind. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
