The closest beach access point is only a mile away as well.

Inside, the villa is sleek and modern, with cool tones of gray running throughout. The first floor is an open and social space, bringing together a well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, room to dine at both a breakfast bar and a high-top table, and a waterfront living room with a intelligent TV. The bedrooms are upstairs, each paired with its own intelligent TV and full bathroom. One includes a desk workspace, where you can log onto the WiFi and take work calls in tranquility.

Booking the best rental home experience:

Finding your perfect rental home:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Hilton Head area. To find the best rental for your budget, we suggest reserving in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hilton Head vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property managers offer special rates for active duty military and veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer customers an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides contain money saving offers on nearby tours and attractions.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • Start by having your family decide on trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration your family needs. Waterfront, dog-friendly condo at Shelter Cove with pool, deck & harbor view has 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed types is often available on booking websites. If they are not listed, reach out to the property owner before you reserve the vacation property. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • Visiting for a single event or attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. Remember to confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or charges might be applied to your contract.

More considerations:

  • Take a copy of the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your .
  • During check-in, note any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the host. Record all coorespondence.
  • Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often an excellent source for finding the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental home while you're away. Protect your property!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property owners rely on good ratings to propel new bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
