Bring the kids and let their “wonder” take flight, getting to know the most beautiful bug! From egg, to caterpillar, to chrysalis, to adult, even little kids learn and make memories at the Karen Wertheimer Butterfly Habitat where a guide introduces butterfly types and life cycle. Plus, you can create a simple seed craft to take home and start your own butterfly garden, both enjoying and perpetuating the butterfly population.
This family friendly outdoor program is designed for the preschool and younger elementary kids in your family BUT the whole family will enjoy.
$5 per adult, $5 per child, children under 3 free
Wednesdays from 10:00-10:30 AND 11:00-11:30 through 8/2/22.
This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY outdoor experience.

Welcome to the Coastal Discovery Museum!
The Coastal Discovery Museum is one of the most memorable destinations on Hilton Head Island. Explore natural history and cultural heritage on the 68 acre Honey Horn property. The Museum’s trails, gardens, live oaks, butterfly enclosure, and horses are just a few of the fun experiences you will encounter during your visit.
Monday-Saturday 9:00-4:30 and Sunday 11-3.
