description: Have a Private Learn to Surf experience in the safe and warm waters of Hilton Head Island! Our safe, structured, and fun approach to teaching hour and a half surf lessons will guarantee an experience you will remember for a lifetime! Our instructors are International Surf Association Certified and Surf Lifeguards. Private Surf lessons are held at the Sea Pines Beach Club, or we can come to your Private Beach Front Property for an additional fee.
what_is_included: A fun & small private group lesson!
itinerary: Check in for your Private Surf Lesson at the Sea Pines Beach Club. You will meet your instructor on the beach. When walking through the beach club, take the boardwalk to the beach closest to the bar. Once on the beach turn right and your Instructor will be standing by our Beach Boxes and Sail Boats.

From there, one of our Surf Instructors will guide you on to the beach where your surf boards will be waiting for you. Now the fun begins! We will start with a brief beach safety and awareness discussion, followed by light stretching and pop-up practice. Once warmed up, we will head out in the waves where you will be assisted by our experienced instructors in catching multiple waves throughout your lesson!

After conquering the waves, participants are welcome to head on back to the Sea Pines Beach Club and enjoy great music, food, and drink! Truly a unique experience you will not forget!
check_in_details: Please arrive a few minutes early to get settled. Check in for your Private Surf Lesson at the Sea Pines Beach Club. You will meet your instructor, on the beach. Unless another location has been requested.

Be aware that if you are staying outside of the Sea Pines Resort there is a $9.00 cash only fee per vehicle to enter the gate.

Parking at the Sea Pines Beach Club is reserved for registered guests of The Sea Pines Resort and Sea Pines Property Owners with the proper vehicle pass. All other guests are able to park at the Plantation Golf Club, 100 N. Sea Pines Drive. Please be prepared to show your email confirmation to the parking attendant on duty for the day of your scheduled lesson. Drop-offs are permitted at the Sea Pines Beach Club by showing your email confirmation to the parking attendant. Please note: vehicles are required to exit the parking lot immediately after completing the drop-off.

what_to_bring: We recommend bringing sun protection, water and a Rash guard or T-shirt.
