description: H2O Sports is thrilled to offer another great way to enjoy the local waters of Hilton Head Island. Stand-Up Paddleboarding, or SUP, is one of the fastest growing water activities and a great way to tour the island's waterways. During your adventure, you will be learning about the local eco-system, observing the wildlife in its natural habitat, and experiencing the magical feeling of freedom on the water. It doesn't get much better than this!
SUP is easy to learn and fun for the whole family. You will learn the basics from our experienced instructors. The lessons begin on land, but you will be standing up on a paddleboard in the water in no time. Once you are comfortable, your instructor will take you on a tour of the Calibogue Sound and the surrounding marsh areas. This is great for those who are just starting out because the waters are calm.

We recommend wearing a bathing suit or board shorts. Look for clothes made from quick drying fabrics. You can also bring a small beach bag for the essentials: sunscreen (SPF of 50+), water bottle, and a towel.

faqs: Is it Hard?
Not at all! About 90% of our guests have never been on a Stand-Up Paddleboard before, so don't be intimidated. Our lessons are tailored to beginners. The only prerequisites are that you are able to swim and ready to explore the amazing waters of Hilton Head Island paddleboarding in style!

Please have your email confirmation available on your smartphone when possible. We will also be able to find your reservation by your name at the check-in booth.
Important Info
H2O Sports is located inside The Sea Pines Resort. There is a $9 (cash only!) gate fee for every car coming from outside of the gate. The gate pass is good for the whole day, and there are no other parking fees inside the Resort. Please note that bicycles CANNOT be ridden into Sea Pines from outside of the gate!
Please allow extra time to find parking as it does get very busy in Harbour Town. As a reminder, Sea Pines offers a trolley between Memorial Day and Labor Day that is available off Greenwood Drive and drops off in Harbour Town. Harbour Town is also offers a seasonal valet service. You will find the valet on your right hand side near the gravel parking lot once you enter Harbour Town. Please find our reservation booth at the start of the Harbour Town Pier.
