description: Learn the basics of rowing. We use 1-4 person shells (boats) and will teach participants basic sculling (2 oars per rower) technique. Each participant will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to row an individual rowing shell (single) on their own.

Please Note: Rowing is a sport. Participants must be capable of lifting 25+ lbs. and exerting themselves physically and cardio vascularly.
what_is_included: All boats and boating equipment are provided.
itinerary: To book this activity - Choose the First Tuesday of the month. This ensures that your child is enrolled to participate the entire month. Sessions occur for 4 Tuesdays over a month period.

The booking system is working on their multi-day booking platform. For now, registering for the first session will ensure that your child is enrolled for the entire month!
check_in_details: Locations: Beginners Rowing will take place at the Rowing & Sailing Center at 137 Squire Pope Rd.

What to Wear: Please wear Close toed shoes, and comfortable clothes for on water activities and movement.
