description: This fishing trip will travel to an artificial reef 4.5 miles offshore, weather permitting, and fish for a variety of bottom fish. You never know what you will catch!
itinerary: The Drifter will travel offshore to an artificial reef where the boat will anchor and you will fish over an artificial reef.
We will be fishing for Black Sea Bass as well as Whiting, Weakfish, Bluefish, and an occasional shark or Redfish.
The ocean is usually pretty nice but you may want to take Dramamine if you are unsure about how you may feel.
highlights: While out on the 4.5 hour trip you may see dolphins, pelicans and Osprey as we travel to and from the fishing grounds.
The fishing grounds are close to the Savannah Shipping Channel so you may get lucky and see a large container ship go by while you are fishing as well as seeing Loggerhead turtles that frequent the reef.
The great thing about fishing is you never know what you might catch or see while out on the ocean! Let's go fishing and make some memories!
check_in_details: When you arrive at Palmetto Bay Marina, proceed to the right side of the docks to the flagpole at the top of the docks. The captain will check you in approximately 30 minutes before departure time.
