Appreciate sunny days at the three on-site pools, one of which is just outside the front door. You're just a few short blocks from the alluring South Forest Beach via a dedicated walking path, and don't forget to bring the beach chairs, collapsible beach cart, umbrellas, body boards, beach toys and coolers, available for your use. Additional on-site amenities include tennis courts and a lagoon, and you’re also near Coligny Beach Park or Coligny Plaza, with tons of stores, dining, and entertainment.

Tricks and tips to get the best Hilton Head vacation property experience:

Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season in coastal SC. Book your Hilton Head rental property in the Fall or Spring to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guide magazines contain coupons for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.

How to choose and book the best Hilton Head vacation home:

  • Select a group lead, select your dates, and select a maximum budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration you need. Updated third-floor condo near beach with three pools, WiFi, AC, & W\/D has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is often available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, email the host before you reserve the home. Remember that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to establish what is right for your vacation.
  • Some rentals allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and additional charges may apply. Ask your host about your furry family members before booking.
  • Are you looking for particular amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. .

During your stay:

  • Put the owner's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a hot tub, elevator or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents quite a few issues.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Keep your property safe!
  • Note any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be useful if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are often an excellent source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal items. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a excellent stay? Most rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
