Reviews:

We appreciate Hilton Head Beach Villa 25. This is our third time there, and each time we appreciate it more and more. It is ideal for a family like ours with three young kids and traveling with our grandparents. There are plenty of comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms for everybody. There are also two living spaces for hanging out and watching TV. The kitchen is cavernous and has all the amenities we could want. For the first time we took advantage of the closet full of board games. It is so handy having the washer and dryer in the unit. We all adore that the pool is so close - it takes seconds to walk there (but it's not too close that i worry about the kids going in when they aren't supposed to). Our three year old adored the toddler pool and the boys appreciated playing in the bigger pool. We also appreciate that the beach is so close - a short, striking stroll over the boardwalk. Ideal for fast trips back to the condo for using the bathroom or grabbing snacks / toys / sunscreen. The beach could not be any prettier and you can see it from the upstairs balcony. i adore peaceful time in the morning sipping coffee on the upstairs balcony. The location of the condo is ideal - a short walk to coligny circle, a short bicycle ride to sea pines, and very close to so many delicious eateries. The owner of the condo was very quick to respond to the few questions we had. We appreciate it there and cannot wait to go back.

Strategies for getting the perfect Hilton Head rental experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • To find the best value, try changing your group's vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer excellent temperatures, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • In the Hilton Head area, The sooner you can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Booking your vacation rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Some owners offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.
  • Many management companies supply Hilton Head area visitor guides which will include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Hilton Head visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Planning and picking a perfectrental:

  • Select vacation week and maximum budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration you need. 3 bed\/3 bath multi-level villa on South Forest Beach, steps from the ocean has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, call the property owner before you book the rental. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what bed configuration is right for your family.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction? Try a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking.
  • Some rental properties allow pets, and some don't. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the property management company about pets before booking.

Considerations for your stay:

  • Add the host's contact information to your phone. Understand and take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Note any damages to the property at check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be valuable if a dispute is filed.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, stereo or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of concerns.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually an excellent resource to find the best local spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let crooks spoil your family vacation.
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the host isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a fantastic time? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
