Stony Creek Villa in Sea Pines is a condo with a comfortable ambiance, making it ideal for a family hideaway or a casual vacation with friends. This townhouse overlooks a nature-filled marsh abounding with local plants and wildlife. It is a handsome three-story dwelling with plenty of space for your group. You will be a short walk to Harbour Town, where you can appreciate the activities, eateries, and stores. The Sea Pines tennis facility is across the street, and the world-famed Harbour Town golf course, home of the RCB-Heritage Tournament, is just a short walk away.

Renting a Sea Pines villa gives you many advantages, like the resort's sailing tours, fishing, crabbing, and water sports, and a beautiful 400-acre nature reserve has trails for cycling and running. Swimming in the shared pool, playing golf and tennis, and visiting the close by candy-striped lighthouse are also options. You can get to the town's shopping and dining destinations pretty quickly, too, by bicycle or car.

The front of this townhouse is charmingly landscaped with trees and foliage, and wide, closely spaced steps lead to the front gate. The villa has carpeted bedrooms and striking area rugs in the living and dining areas, with runners in the entry and hallway. The kitchen has bespoke white cabinets and granite countertops. Substantial sliding glass doors flood the living area with natural light.

Tips and Tricks for getting the perfect Hilton Head rental home experience:

How to get the best rental value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. To get the best value, shift your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and even October offer warm weather, less crowded beaches, and greatly reduced traffic.
  • Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers usually offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hilton Head area visitor guide magazines which include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Hilton Head visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Selecting the perfect vacation rental:

  • Choose a group leader, select your trip dates, and choose a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your family requires. Lovely, water-viev townhouse with pool - short walk to Harbour Town & playground has 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Hilton Head rental home search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is often available on booking websites. Otherwise, email or call the host before reserving your rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • If there's a specific Hilton Head attraction you crave, browse rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking
  • Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Extra fees or charges may be applied to your invoice.

Know before you go:

  • Be sure you get the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your . Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • At Check-in, make note of any damages to the rental property and immediately contact the host. Record all coorespondence.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few issues.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers bothering your home life. Practice the golden rule for common sense. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Ensure you protect the property owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a terrific time? Most rental managers make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
