There’s nothing quite like the glow of a full moon dancing across the lake—and now you have two chances to experience it! Join us for our Lunar Paddle at the Landing on Saturday, September 6th and Sunday, September 7th from 8–10 PM.

????✨ Picture this: the peaceful rhythm of your paddle, soft lake ripples reflecting the moon above, glow gear lighting the way, and the quiet hum of nature all around. It’s an unforgettable night under the stars—and it’s waiting for you at Saluda Lake Landing.

????‍♀️ Reserve one of our watercraft—including kayaks, paddleboards, canoes, and even a 4-person paddleboat—or launch your own for just $8 (launch fee only—no gear included). Our rentals SOLD OUT last time, so we highly recommend booking early to make sure we have a watercraft ready for you! All rentals include a glow bracelet or necklace to enhance the experience.

???? After your paddle, warm up at our lakeside s’mores fire (kits available for purchase at the café window) and enjoy drink specials while you soak in the view.

???? Arrive early (around 6 PM) for dinner, live music on the patio, and a beautiful sunset before check-in begins at 7:30 PM.

Arrive early to grab dinner from the café and enjoy the sunset before your paddle. We’ll have food, drinks, and plenty of space to relax lakeside.

7:30 PM – 7:45 PM
Check in at the café window, pick up your glow gear, and get fitted with your paddle, life jacket, and watercraft. If you haven’t already signed your waiver, please complete it before heading out.

8:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Set off on your self-guided paddle under the full moon! Explore the peaceful beauty of Saluda Lake at your own pace, lit only by moonlight and your glow gear.

Q: Does the $8 launch fee include a kayak or life jacket?
A: No. The $8 launch fee is for guests bringing their own watercraft. It does not include a rental or life jacket. If you need a kayak, paddleboard, canoe, or paddleboat, please reserve a rental separately.

Q: Is the water safe to swim in?
A: Yes! Saluda Lake is safe for swimming. However, please note that this is a paddle-focused event, and we recommend staying in your watercraft for safety during evening hours.

Q: Can I bring my own s’mores supplies?
A: We provide the s’mores supplies, but you’re welcome to bring your own roasting stick if you prefer. Outside food and drink are not allowed.

Q: Do I have to wear a life jacket?
A: Yes. All participants—whether using your own watercraft or renting—are required to wear a properly fitted life jacket (PFD) while on the water.

Q: Can my child paddle alone?

Q: What if it rains?
A: The event will go on in light rain, but if there is lightning, high winds, or unsafe conditions, we will reschedule or cancel the event. In that case, your reservation will be moved to the next available paddle night.
