description: Learn about the history of indigo usage and how to dye fabrics using "Shibori" techniques. All participants will be provided one flour sack towel to dye.
You may bring in one t-shirt per participant. This shirt must be made of 100% cotton and pre-washed with no fabric softener prior to the program. If these directions are not followed, your shirt will not be dyed.
This activity will be hosted partially outdoors and may be cancelled due to weather. Please wear clothes fit for the weather conditions and that can be stained, as you will be working with dye.
