We’ll motor from the dock to Port Royal Sound, raise the sails, and—if the wind cooperates—turn off the engine for a peaceful, quiet sail. Guests are welcome to be as involved as they’d like: handle lines, take the helm, or simply relax and enjoy the scenery.

highlights: Start your day on the water with a peaceful 2-hour morning cruise through the serene intercoastal waterways of Hilton Head Island. As the soft early light settles over the water, enjoy generally calmer morning winds that make for a smooth and relaxing ride—perfect for taking in the natural beauty all around you.

Along the way, you’ll have the chance to see dolphins, osprey, pelicans, eagles, and often sea turtles and manta rays in their natural habitat. Your crew will share fascinating insights about the local ecosystem, wildlife, and the island’s unique environment, making this experience as educational as it is scenic.

Whenever the wind allows, we’ll raise the sails—mornings are often gentle, while our afternoons and sunsets typically bring the best breezes of the day.

check_in_details: Wait for the Captain at the end of the Pier by the Anchors Away Sign at the end of the dock on the right. We run as much on time as possible, the Captain will meet you 5 - 10 minutes before your sail start time
what_to_bring: Bring Sunscreen (not spray on), hats and dress to be comfortable on the water. On the water is generally 10 degrees cooler than on land.
special_requirements: Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
restrictions: This is suitable for everyone, however, we do have a long walk down the docks to the boat. There are 4 normal height steps to get up to the boat and then 2 large steps to get down into the boat. If anyone has mobility issues, please give us a call to update the booking so we are prepared to assist if possible

If there is a factor such as weather that may impact your trip, we will work with you to reschedule if possible or provide a full refund if the Captain calls off the trip for safety reasons
