The home is less than a mile away from Palmetto Dunes General Store, multiple golf courses, eateries, and a bicycle and kayak rental. A wooden walkway leads from the complex's pool, hot tub, and outdoor grilling area to the sandy shores of Hilton Head, making it painless to walk down to the sand anytime you want!

When you want some privacy, head back to this comfortable condo to relax. You can watch a movie on TV, check your e-mail with the complimentary WiFi, or take a book out to the balcony and catch up on your reading in the warm air. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if allowed.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furnishings, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Sticking to your spending plan:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of SC. To find the largest rental home within budget, we suggest booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Hilton Head attractions.
  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager whether your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies frequently offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Hilton Head visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guide magazines have money saving offers on local accommodations, tours and attractions.

  • Keep the property locked while you're out! Don't let burglars ruin your trip.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected everything. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a fantastic stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was great, they would love to hear it.
