If fishing in Hilton Head Island is on your bucket list, look no further than Southern Roots Fishing Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Matt can tell you all about them.
These waters are known for Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Bonnethead Shark, Blacktip Shark, Lemon Shark, Bull Shark, Flounder, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Tripletail, Cobia, and more. You can expect to do some spinning, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Matt welcomes you aboard a 24’ Bay boat that holds up to 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain.
Young ones are welcome, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! It’s recommended to bring snacks, drinks, sunblock (non-spray), a hat, and sunglasses. Bottled water is provided. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
And that’s it! Your fishing trip with Southern Roots Fishing Charters is just a click away.
