You will fish aboard a 27’ Boston Whaler powered by twin 200 HP Mercury engines. This vessel has a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots, allowing you to reach the fishing grounds in no time. On board you will find everything you need, from Penn fishing gear and outriggers to a live bait well. There is room on board for six passengers and children age five and above are welcome.

While fishing with Capt. Joe, you will have your choice of inshore and nearshore fishing. An inshore trip takes you through the bays, estuaries, and inlets in search of Redfish, Speckled Trout, Cobia, Tarpon, and Sharks. Fishing close to shore is ideal for families and first time anglers who may not have developed their sea legs yet. On these trips, the waters will be calm and the shore will always be in sight. 

If you’re after the thrill of an offshore fishing experience, rest assured that your captain can make it happen. A variety of deep sea species are swimming within just three to 10 miles of Hilton Head Island, giving you a chance to target these larger fish without traveling all day to find them. A nearshore trip allows you to target Mahi Mahi, Kingfish, Cobia, Red Snapper, and various ocean-roaming Sharks.

Hilton Head Fishing Charters provides a fishing license and all gear. Depending on the species, you may keep your catch and the crew will clean and fillet it for you.
