If there are a few tennis players in the group, take advantage of the world-class Ship[yard Van Der Meer Tennis facility and challenge each other to some friendly competition. Shelter Cove Marina is a great place to meander through stores and try the local cuisine and if you need a wardrobe update, Shelter Cove Towne Centre is also close by sporting all of your favorite clothing stores.

  • Some hosts and property managers offer rate reductions for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance protection.   • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental to make sure you've collected everything. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a great time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise.
