  • The earlier you can book, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Booking your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Some owners offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
  • Property managers frequently offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance protection.   • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected everything. Make sure to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and look for damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on good reviews to stimulate more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review.
