If fishing in Hilton Head Island is on your bucket list, look no further than Drifter Excursions. Your guide for the day is Captain Trey, offering years of knowledge and experience.
Capt. Trey specializes in fun, family fishing excursions where you don’t need any experience to have a great time. In the early spring, you’re likely to target Whiting, Redfish, and Blue Fish. When the waters warm up, catch Spanish Mackerel and a variety of Sharks, including Black Tip, Bonnethead, Atlantic Sharpnose, Lemon, Bull, and Finetooth Sharks. In the fall, expect to go for big Redfish as well as Sharks, Whiting, Bluefish, and Spanish Mackerel.
You’ll target your catch by spinning, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that’s dinner! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
The captain welcomes you aboard a 28’ Center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you, along with lures. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time!
Kids are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Some essentials to bring are snacks, drinks, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now’s the time to experience fishing on Hilton Head Island for yourself with Drifter Excursions!
